Thanks for the comment and question.

Well, the digital camera is OK; I am taking approx. the same number of photos. Just that now I notice immediately when I moved the camera when pressing the shutter compared to what was initially framed (but this wasn't such a big problem for the analogue camera since that one was framing more than I saw). I also do not have to chose exposure or such, just night or auto. With auto I have the advantage of a flash for photographing things in shadow with a sunny background. What else I learned is not to take photos with the sun in the front since the sky will be white, so I am looking what to photograph in the morning and what in the evening. However, I have no idea which would be the quality of these images, if printed.

Thank you, too, sorry I have so little time to take care of my photo.net account.

Yes, these are yet another stones; I must admit I had to chose which ones for the introductory chapter I thought of as a sample for a book in proposal stage I am hoping to edit. I could have chosen plastering for artificial stone and take one of those in Lisbon, and then something else than a wall for brick (for concrete I have a column, and for historic mortars plastering of facades around windows and such). But then I decided that mosaic at the fountain with the Hundertwasser house in Vienna in the background is a good variation. Please keep fingers crossed that everything goes well with this initiative!
