places The Principal's Office

When I walked these halls a half-century ago, students did not want to

be summoned to enter that office door. Mr. Askins, the principal, had

a paddle and he wasn't reluctant to use it. The wrecking crew had

begun tearing this down to make room for condos when I shot this. I am

very grateful to the contractor who let me in against his better judgment.

I am no expert, far from it, but there is something quite nice about this picture. I find the white blob in the middle of the right hand door a little distracting but the rest of it I like. Don't know why.
