Please comment on this photo from her second session. I'm looking forgenuine, constructive criticism, not a mere pat on the back :)

Thanks for your comment :) Hope the image won't give you any nightmares ;) We were going for a contrast between modern and traditional culture...

Mark,

Nice shot, but not really a fashion shot to me. There's too much going on

around the (very beautiful!) girl I think.

The mix of available light and hard flash light gives this

pic a bit of a snapshot feel.....Everything to my taste

offcourse....Looking forward to seeing

more of your work, all the best, Ruud

Thanks for your comment :) That's exactly the sort of feedback I'm looking for. Ratings mean little as I seek to improve my technique and push creative boundaries.

Many thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark, I love the idea very creative :)

The only thing I would change here is to move her away a bit further from the background to avoid the hard shadow maybe the light coming from behind is on the border of being too much. But that s just details over all is a nice shoot.

Best Regards Tore

As a fashion advertisment, you just sold a really striking blue dress on a beautiful body. The dress itself would make a customer say "I'd like to look like that".

As a fashion statement. I don't care for the slight snear expression on such a photogenic lady. Then again, I'm old and don't pretend to understand the marketplace of her age group.

As a photograph. The composition and light on (her) is ideal. I'd prefer a darker background so my eye didn't travel.

For impact, wow. The dress really pops out and you can't ignore it.

Bravo Mark :) Your portfolio is interesting and shows a gifted eye.
