jayme 0 Posted June 24, 2006 I love your style :) You capture wonderfully natural poses. They capture real emotion & feeling. This is what it's all about. The crop & composition of this image is terrific. Seeing that wonderful smile, makes me smile :) I am assuming you used a fill flash, it worked well. I would however, adjust the levels & sharpen a bit. To me, on my monitor, it seems a little washed out. Could be my monitor, it needs calibrating! Easily corrected. I hope you don't mind, I played a little in PS, just because it's so much darn easier to show than tell. Keep up the wonderful work, you have an eye for children! Link to comment
skersell33 0 Posted June 24, 2006 Jayme - Thank you for your interest. My children give me every reason to pick up my camera! I agree with the color looking a little washed out. I see the difference, so I don't think it's your monitor. However, any time I've messed around with sharpening, when I go to print it, it's very obvious. When I printed the original image it turned out really sharp, so sometimes it's hard to judge just how much sharpening need be applied. Don't mind at all! I briefly looked over your portfolio and you have some great work. I'm not a member yet, so I'm limited on number of pictures I can post. Thanks again for the recommendations. Link to comment
