dpurfectlight 0 Posted June 28, 2006 No flash, I think VR works in this case. Let me know what you think. Thanks. Link to comment
brendon 0 Posted June 30, 2006 I agree with the comment above. Magnificent, lovely colors. White balance looks great in what had to have been difficult light. -Brendon Link to comment
andre_mcnichols 0 Posted July 15, 2006 Light is always terrible in churches and apparently this one's no exception... How well does VR work? How many of your shots were sharp enough for the size they wanted? Shooting at 1/30 means that any movement from your subjects will show. Was that a problem for a wedding? I'm expecting to shoot a card or 2 in a church this summer and I can't go there in advance for tests. Beautiful shot btw... Andre Link to comment
dpurfectlight 0 Posted July 17, 2006 Hi Andre,This image was captured in RAW and I have to sharpen it up in Nikon Capture. I have about 4 attemps for this shot. Tripod is a must but VR works wonderfully for me when there's no tripod available. Without flash, any movement could be a problem at that shutter speed. You just have to crankup the ISO and take a few more shots to make sure. White balance choice is critical in difficult lighting. Hope this helps and good luck. Link to comment
