That is fabulous, Howard!! I love the blue background, and that the guy is looking at you! I also like that the man in real life and the man in the painting look like kindred spirits. And it reminds me that I have to come and visit to see some wall paintings in Philly! :-)

I very much like how the arc of the arm of the painted figure on the wall echoes the posture of the painter himself, and there's an interesting compositional balance between the shapes of their bodies. And of course it's wonderful that he is looking toward the lens. Serendipitous!

Howard, I don't know whether you say this when you took the shoot, but what comes through very strongly for me is the fact that the man on the wall is almost a Godlike figure, stooping to protect and keep his child safe. amazing. Did you take any other shots of this - if so, I'd love to see them.
