ester 0 Posted August 9, 2006 Sherry this is a lovely photo of your very lovely daughter. I love everything about it except maybe the post-processing, its seems to me that the photo was good enough on its own. Can I see the original? Link to comment
skersell33 0 Posted August 11, 2006 Thanks for your comments and feedback. Ester - I'll have to search my library for the original... as I took this one a while ago. I applied the high contrast and exaggerated soft glow to give it that "glamour" effect for a series of pics I put together in a collage. See attached file. However, if I do find the original any time soon, I'd be glad to share. Link to comment
ester 0 Posted August 11, 2006 Hiya, I think that maybe the contrast is a bit too high, the lighting on your daughters cheeks is beautiful and the contrast breaks it up to much. It doesnt matter so much because the photo has so many positives. Ester Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 16, 2006 So wonderful adorable little baby girl dear Sherry! I have read your comment on "Boy in a cap by sonia macak", about some EFFECTS/FILTERS that she used on her boy`s portrait, and I see her you too you used some diffuse glow, I like it cause it makes her eyes more accentuated because of the pale skin tone :) and as I am also doing children portrait, you can look in my folder - My beloved Nephew DANILO - I can tell you for sure that the "so called " Photography community of Photo Net - DO NOT LIKE when Photographs are coming streight from the camera, meaning no added effects/filters, cause I have put one of my Nephew`s portrait without any any added filters from PhotoShop, and they did not even notice it, but when I added some effects/filters and converted it in sepia e.g. they LOVED it?!?!?? so if you want your children portrait to be more noticable, YOU (and Sonia, and I) HAVE TO POSTPROCESS them in PHOTOSHOP to be appreciate it by the PN Community! Just my humble opinion dear Sherry! Thank YOU :) Biliana Link to comment
