Zebras

This has a very etherial feeling to it. I like the way you placed the zebra and it's reflection balanced over the center of the frame. Nice work.

I really like the lighting, patterns, composition and affect of original photo. However I don't think the tint adds much and makes the photo look "altered". Even though the "reflection" has been darkened and softened to appear realsitic, the photoshopped mirror image also distracts from the strengths of the original. A true reflection "views" the subject from a different angle (lower in this case) and therefore is very rarely a mirror image of the subject. For example, the ears that appear over the zebra's back would be more (or completely) hidden in a real reflection.

Fred, thanks for your critique. I wanted something like yours. I was trying a reflection. I wanted to know if It would work. It was not trying to be a true reflection. Best regards.
