color 3 Posted May 1, 2007 She looks like a lively and fun person about to do something mischievous. Good photo. Link to comment
dberryhill 3 Posted May 2, 2007 Thanks. She is a lively and fun woman. I have taken many photos of her over several years, and this is by far her least favorite. But I think this reveals her personality better than any of the others. I'm sometimes thankful that I don't always have to please the subject. Link to comment
iralarrys best 0 Posted November 29, 2007 This is a wonderful portrait enhanced by the dark eyes surrounded by a generally pale exposure. You also caught a great expression. Nice work. I would love to know the circumstances of the shot. Link to comment
dberryhill 3 Posted November 29, 2007 Thank you Lawrence. We had lunch in a local park and I took a few shots of her afterwards. I think our long friendship gives her a comfort level with me that shows in some of her pictures. Link to comment
dberryhill 3 Posted June 18, 2008 Thanks for viewing. This may help me learn how taste in photography has changed in the past several years. Comments are always good, even from those who don't like the picture for whatever reason. Link to comment

charlie_henss 0 Posted June 19, 2008 This is an unusual and arresting shot. Have you considered submitting it to one of the stock services? That expression would make a great ad for something. Charlie Henss Link to comment
dberryhill 3 Posted June 19, 2008 Thank you both. Charlie, I hadn't thought of that. But I doubt she would sign a release - she hates this picture. Link to comment
graham john miles 0 Posted June 19, 2008 She is just too adorable, but I can see why she would hate it. Women do not like to be reminded of their laugh lines even if they do capture what we love about them the most. You probably could soften it a little to please her, the lines would remain but the grain would become more velvety and pleasing. Link to comment
dberryhill 3 Posted June 19, 2008 Thanks for looking and commenting. I'm grateful. I have taken other photos of Terrie that she does like. So I may leave this one alone. Link to comment
