Morning Dunes ... Death Valley National Park, California

First trip to Death Valley ... simply amazed at the intensity of

seeing the Earth exposed and the beauty within. As like all that

there is to see in Death Valley, it was amazing to see the dunes,

ponder upon how they are actually formed and admire the various

shapes, forms and awe-ness of Mother Nature. Critiques and comments

welcome.

Excellent composition and arrangement of forms, shadows and their various textures. Lovely diagonals run through the entire image. You're using the camera I always wanted to get (trouble is I have all these Nikon lenses!) but never could justify prying the dollars out of my wallet for. I love how the tree-tops forms kind of a floating form/barrier amongst the dunes. If you return in even the near future, don't be surprised by how much even this very scene may have changed! Oh those shifting sands...
