Yet another distorted flower...

Oooo I like this; it's almost volcanic. Very abstract. Sort of a new direction you're moving in with this technique.

Different flowers help, Mark. These were daffodils, taken while up in Canada.

Started with daffodils - ended up with this. One in my distorted

flowers series. Comments?

Being new to this site, Your abstract daffodils really stood out as i was scrolling the photographs. Very unique, great effects. Love it.

Oooh Kim- I think the one's you did a few years ago where what drew me to your portfolio then. This is super! The composition, color, light, texture all very eye-catching & interesting. I like this very much!

Thanks, Angie & Jayme. They are fun to do, but some flowers just don't work well. I kind of like the daffodils.

I like the way you use negative space in these shots ... the balance is always so perfect. I also like that the petals end up looking so much like a painter's brush got at them.
