Dan, I see what you meant in your comment on my Mustang shot. In the case of this one I think it would be a little better if you could make out a little more of the F-16...to distinguish the lower section from the ground. Its good as is though, and this is just my opinion on improving it.

yeah, i think i agree with you. the f16 shows up as a blob on a normal monitor and it really should have been adjusted differently. So again, i'll pull the exuse of trying to blot out background clutter by making it dark.

I'm wondering...if you got lower to the ground would you run into the problem of getting stuff in front of the jet? If not I think it would have been good to possibly get some sky under the airplane instead of just lightening the picture. I really like the silhouette here and I like the sky...so I don't know how if you would still have all that good stuff if you changed the comp too much...just something to thing about...I'm wondering 'what if?' so now you can too. Sorry...

you know daniel... i think you are 100% right. "if only" i had gotten lower i could have gotten a far better shot. well, ther's always next year.

you know, i just realised why i didnt get low when: the sun was burning through the canopy and that was the original shot that i was going for. Then i realised when reviewing that all of the clutter looked like pretty bad, and the sun coming through didnt add as much as i had hoped.
