Tracel Cap-Rouge

Here's a picture of a railroad, passing over the village, that I took

with kodak infrared film. That was in Quebec, Qc, Canada

 

Is it a good picture that represent the infrared result?

C'est vraiment une tres belle photo. Bravo. Tres bon cadrage, bon contraste et tres bon sujet.

 

Je n'ai pas encore ete dans le coin de Cap-Rouge pour faire des photos, mais ca me donne envie d'aller y faire un tour.

Marc, look at the leaves on the trees: That's what IR film does...

Well done. I'm not that fond of the "foliage effect" with IR, usually. I think it's often over-done, so I try to keep it at a minimum, a hint that let's you know that it's IR. However, this works for me aesthetically, as it's the train trestle that is the focus/main subject.

What can I say other than BEAUTIFUL. Great job, not just at getting the effect, but lovely composition that really conveys the feeling of space.
