jnicholson 0 Posted June 12, 2006 Excellent shot, Jerry. How did you get such a great angle? Link to comment
jerry ting 1 Posted June 12, 2006 Thanks for stopping by. This was taken at Lake Elizabeth located at the center of Fremont, CA. There is a small isle in the lake where all kinds of egrets and herons come nest here every year. Of course this isle is a restricted area so I have to photograph it from the shore which is about 100 yards away. This image is about 1/3 frame of the original shot and the lens used here is AF Nikkor 300mm/f2.8 with a Kenko Pro 2X converter attched. Link to comment
jnicholson 0 Posted June 12, 2006 Now I'm even more impressed. There's no way I would have thought you were that far away. The sharpness and the detail in the heads are remarkable for that kind of distance. I'd love to get an egret shot like this. Link to comment
