20 minutes. It offers a different depth of color. Very often

Yes, this starts out as a normal black and white print in the darkroom; on fiber, matte paper. (there are methods to use other type papers) Then a thin coating of turpentine and clear oil mix over the entire print, next, transparent pencils (Berol or Marshalls) will "smear" in the oil and cover like an oil painting. One color may take a day or two to dry, till you can do another color next to it.
