dangoldman 0 Posted June 11, 2006 in this shot i think i was trying to bring out the length of the nose of the mustang, which is huge. comments and critique are always appreciated. Link to comment
k5083 1 Posted June 14, 2006 Dan, I like this angle. Some would suggest that you should not have clipped that prop blade on the left. I'm ordinarily not hung up about that, but in this case it would have been pretty easy to leave the whole thing in. What I feel this picture needs is more drama in the sky to match what you saw. I suggest selecting the blue color channel and making it darker and more saturated. Here is a quick edit. Link to comment
dangoldman 0 Posted June 14, 2006 thanks once again for your insight and time, August. And i agree with you on all advice you have just given me. Im surpised i missed darkening the sky though, i usualy play with that. well, thats what i get for editing at 2am... Link to comment
alex_kew 0 Posted August 18, 2006 PN needs more people like August! Great advice to improve an already very nice shot. I never thought of the Mustang having a long nose, but when you see a Merlin engine sat on a trestle on it's own, you realise how big it is!! 27 litres of V12 takes up a lot of space! Link to comment
dangoldman 0 Posted August 18, 2006 ditto. August has been i think one of the greatest help's that i have had in my short time in photography so far. and yes, the merlin sure is a beast! Link to comment
