haleh b 0 Posted June 16, 2006 I love your concept. I jus think the tea cup/glass either should have been in or out. Then again, after pausing and looking at the image again it kind of makes sense with the head being cut off as well. A good image for 1001 night story! Link to comment
rina 0 Posted June 16, 2006 Thanks Haleh. I do not like the cropped glas either - but decided here to crop because of the overexposed shoulder I wanted to get rid of. Link to comment
haleh b 0 Posted June 16, 2006 I like the fact that her shoulder is not shown. It adds to the mystery. Link to comment
jonathancharlesphoto 0 Posted June 17, 2006 This is a brilliant photo along the lines of one I have planned but not yet taken (inspired by a lovely shot by Pascal Renoux, unfortunately not on p.net). In this image the blurred nude figure in the background is more than just a photographic trick to allow the foreground object to retain some of the attention and alow comparison of the interesting curved shapes, each provides a powerful experiential context for the other. The the a la mente is given its delicious flavour because (in the imaginary scenario) someone has just placed it there in that intimate situation; the reclining figure is given a feeling of sensual luxury by the anticipation of waking and enjoying the flavour. Now I will have to work hard to find a different slant as you have done this so well! best wishes, Jonathan Link to comment
