daughter by candle light

please help with feedback

Very nicely done. Lit well, composed well and exposed well. And a beautiful little girl, too! What could be bad?... t

Great lighting.

It is an original shot too because of the candles in the fireplace instead of the "plain ol' fire" we use to see!

i like this photo, the light looks great. how did you meter it? do you remember details, like the aperture and shutter speed? i have often tried shots like this with terrible results, maybe there is some trick i am missing...

and please give more.

The metering was thru the lense and of my daughter's face (absent the candles), the camera was on a tripod, my daughter does a wonderful job of holding very still during long exposures.
