Very cool self-portrait, Wilson. Almost ghostly and magical with the light coming down like that. Well composed for a self-portrait.

Cool, this one looks beter if you stand back aways from the monitor, super tones and comp. I'll have to do something like that.

I never know what to say about your work that doesn't echo everyone else.

:) I am imagining you lying on the ground with your camera & tabletop tripod, framing this up :) Then, as the people (tourists) start to backup behind you, you race to a place in the frame to capture that moment in time :)

 

Beautiful use of exposure combination, not easy to make the camera see exactly what the human eye sees & more :) You did it! The composition is excellent, as usual. Way too cool!

I have the same imaginations about this image as Jayme. :-) The sunlight coming in through that "hole" in the top is a super backdrop for the silhouette. Nice!!
