Alec, how long does it take to transfer the 39mb files? Congrats to be endorsed by Hasselblad and more studio shots to come eh ; )

Thanks guys more to come for sure. Yann please visit my website www.alecee.com for some of my favorite images.

Vincent, you can get only 33 images from a 2G CF card so every shot counts. Hassy has a new software Flexcolor Ver 4.5.3 which opens up the 39mb in a minute. But it sure is voracious in taking up disk space. I am trying to familiarize myself with te camera before shooting some portraiture for a magazine cover.

Check out the actual size attached image. Even on a damp and cloudy evening it captures a tack sharp image.

Thanks guys. Francesco, Arman, Spencer, I am fortunate that Hasselblad Singapore P Ltd has endorsed me as their official Hasselblad professional user and has provided me the use of their H2D 39 camera and equipment including their studio for photo shoots. ^_^

Alec, you are a lucky man getting the endorsement. It's well deserved. Great colors in this shot, I can't wait to see more from the 'blad.

An excellent camera in the hands of a virtuoso. Amazing sharpness of the image shows the quality of the lens. I am delighted that you will be shooting with "Hassy",as you said, and looking forward to see more of your excellent images. I like your new image in bio-page.

If this is a "test" shot, I can only imagine what a journey the rest of it will be! Congratulations, Alec!! Here I am, hoping to one day get my 10 megapixel camera and you have four times that already! We're all very happy for you and incredibly jealous! :)

Hi Kim, you mean envious? I will be too if it's someone else, can't imagine my luck. The H2D is awesome in a studio environment connected via firewire to a computer. It will accurately provide the best exposure and can be calibrated to the closest decimal point. Skin tones are incredible during our tests. Have arranged for a studio shooting session this Thursday with all the frills. i.e. hairstylist, make-up artist and glamorous clothes with lovely models. Should be fun.

I had a look on your website, very good work indeed!

What I meant about the print is that I'm very curious to see how large can be a print from such a camera. Did you already try?

Hi Marcello, nice to hear from you. Yann, if converted to Tiff file it can be pushed to more then 150mb to 250mb an image and even more if rendered in 16 bits. More then enough for bill board advertising on a wall.
