Nice use of light and shadow and the inclusion of the tree adds balance and greater interest. My preference is to see the entire tree, if this is or was possible. A nice capture all the same.

Superb, dynamic, contrasty mountain. Excellent exposure. Polarizer would have given a deeper blue sky for more drama. The tree seems to balance the mountain but at the same time detracts a little. I wonder how the compostion would have looked with tree out of focus, (f2.8?), to accentuate the subject mountain. Would be interesting to see one more shot for comparison, with the camera tilted down so that the top of the mountain touched the sky, much more shadow, for a more earthy feeling.

Nice clean simple composition but effective. I would have preferred not to have the tree cropped however. Great light, well exposed for.

I like the photo, but I think your frame kind is distracts the viewer. Other than that, it's beautiful
