Creative minds don't stop at simple depictions of physical "reality", but they create reality itself! By means of artistic creativity!

A rather dark image and a rather dark title, and nonetheless the image doen't appear to be only subject to a dark interpretation.

The time flows and as it flows it brings us second after second nearer to the point, at which we know that the physical reality as we perceive it now, will no more exist for us. We don't know what is afterwards, but we know: This reality will be gone! And so the passage of time seems to be the personal purgatory of each any every of us.

But see! One steals it! The monk stole the time itself - he stopped the flow of things, the evolution of the world, which seems so motionless, so dead, as he walks stealthily his way through. The accomplishment was hard and he has to watch out, presumably because his is not the owner? But who's the owner at all, when it is *our* time that we live on this world? Questions...

Despite the darkness and that dump feeling, there is yet something fresh and new in the image. And it is... time itself! Always new, any second is shining on this series of chronological ticks. Maybe this should be best to wish: To be able to understand that any tick, any second which is given to us, is a gift! As new and as shining as any of the subsequent ones.

A marvelous composition, technically brilliant as a combination of photography, painting, and a small tale!

Keep it up and keep well!

Nick
