lbattjes 0 Posted June 5, 2006 I love the volcanic rock framing this little pool! Add in the sunset and wow...great colors complimenting the wonderful textures. Nicely seen. Leslie Link to comment
johnz 0 Posted June 5, 2006 Linda: When I first looked at this in its small version it appeared you were shooting the sky thru a rock formation. Obviously once reading the description and seeing it in a larger version I understood this wonderful shot. As usual you capture the unique. Bravo! Link to comment
always_wanderlust 0 Posted June 5, 2006 Excellent. Love the colors and textures. Tight cropping works well too. Link to comment
james_davison 0 Posted June 5, 2006 This is awesome. Love the colours and the lines created by the shapes of the rock, leading to the upper right. Just great. Link to comment

ljk 0 Posted June 5, 2006 Teru...you are right about your analogy of the window. Thank you for seeing that. Rabinder...I appreciate your visit... Leslie...yes, it was the color and texture that drew me. Thanks! Boonwed...it is the world that is original and beautiful. I am just witness. John...the rating format does not encourage full views and thumbnails are not always easy to interpret. Glad you like this! Tom...thank you! Adonis...I try to crop in the viewfinder when at all possible.. James...I appreciate your comment. Ray...gracias. Ells...sometimes after a trip I get sick of my pictures. Nothing excites anymore...then if I leave them for a while and come back with fresh eyes, I discover some aren't so bad. I think everyone can relate to that. Claude...a pearl, huh? I like that! donnaalbers 0 Posted June 5, 2006 I'm glad you have decided to post this. . . it's good to look back over "old stuff". . and realize how good it is. . . I like the two levels in this image, the hard rock on the outer layer encircling the soft inner tidal pool layer . . the repetition of form and the addition of the warm colors of the sun in the reflection make this an outstanding image. . nice work, Linda.
