Hi Jayme - beautiful little guy. I too like the warm tones better than the bw. For something different, I played a little with the coloring and curves. Hope you don't mind.

Thanks Ahmet, Jason & Emily.

Emily, of course I don't mind, anytime. I truly enjoy seeing others ideas & visions. It gives my old eyes a whole new feel :) I like your playing. Gives a whole different feel to the image. Now do that soft, glowing thing you do :)

Tyson is such a big kid. We call him the "Big Baby" :) Funny story. Last fall (when he as just a year old) upon arriving at Tyson's older brother's football game, our daughter over heard a little 3 year old girl yell in terror, "Mama, mama, pick me up, they brought the big baby back!". After further investigation, our daughter learned that a previous game, Tyson had snatched a sucker right out of this little girl's mouth, making it, of course, his! Our daughter apologized to the little girl & brought her a new sucker to the next game. But since then, poor Tyson has been nick named the "big baby". Which of course, most accurately, did & does describe him :) I have a feeling the only child that will be able to put him in his place will be his cousin Eli. Whom is going to be just about as rough & tumble as him. I can see it now, Tyson & Eli wrestling around on the floor over some toy. It should make for some rather entertaining times. Eli is 9 months younger, but catching up very fast!

Here is a quick verison of the "infamous" glow that I love doing. It took out your title and almost created a vignette. It sound like you have many fun years ahead and some refereeing to do. My youngest son is so active compared to my other two and is constanting trying to tackle them. Since he is only 19 months - I have to constantly remind my 7 year old to be patient with him but in the background I find myself giggling as Nick jumps on Noah and growls at him (since he can't talk yet).

Thanks Emily, I like your famous glow very much:) I know what you mean. Eli & Tyson are going to be well matched. Jake, Tyson's older brother (he's 8 & also a big kid) also must be reminded that he needs to be patient with Ty. Ty tries to do everything Jake does, it's very funny to watch :) Jake gets irritated, but I always remind him that imitation is a wonderful form of flattery :) Someday he will understand this.

Thanks Jason :)

Thanks Wilson :) Nope, no fill flash. The catch lights must have been a reflection off of something behind me, the sun was setting to my right creating the nice "warm" yellow effect. Probably was the many windows of the house across the street also reflecting the light, interesting :) He is my big boy doll with the snotty nose :) I love it! Pure boy!

Sweet little guy...and oh yes, I remember the snotty nose days! Nice capture, and I like the off center framing. Cheers, Iren

He's a beautiful child!! Great caption ... very appropriate, because his eyes are gorgeous. But do they belie the tendencies shown by the story that you told about the sucker? ;-) He looks so old in this image that the pacifier almost looks ridiculous in his mouth....

Thanks Iren & Lou Ann :)

Actually Lou Ann, he's only about 20 months old. He's exactly like his older brother, who the pediatricians are predicting, according to his current height at 8, will be approx. 6'10"- 7' when full grown :) Interesting because when their mother,(our daughter), was 4, our pediatrician called us in to inform us that Haylee was, according to their charts, going to be a "little person". She was so small & tiny, that according to their charts, she might never reach 4'10" in height. They were very concerned & wanted us to take her to an endocrinologist. We opted to not do so, we were not concerned about her height. My mother is just 5'.

So....... Haylee remained very, very tiny until she was a freshman in high school. All of a sudden, she grew by leaps & bounds. She is now 5'6" tall. Obviously, Haylee was a late bloomer. She walked @ 10 months & at 2 she looked like she was 10 months old. She talked & people were so blown away, because of her small size, they thought she was a baby. We had to special order size 1 hard soled shoes. Back then, tennis shoes where not available in her size, only white high tops. It wasn't until she was 3 that we could buy shoes off the shelf, size 2. We called her our little "short cake". Strawberry short cake dolls were her favorite toys :) She also used a pacifier, loved the darn thing. Finally, at 2, she threw it away :) So the moral of the story is...... sometimes you just have to take a wait and see attitude & let your kids develop as they will.

Tyson loves his pacifier, & yes he's a big kid, but he's still basically a baby. He's as big as his mother was small. It's a very interesting situation. Ty's dad is only about 5'8" tall. The kids in their neighborhood have nicknamed Ty "the big baby", because, that's exactly what he is, a "big baby" :) He's about the size of a 4 year old :) but not even 2 yet. His brother, Jake, stands at least a foot taller than any of his classmates. Everyone thinks he's 12, not 8 :) Of course, Jake is a star athlete. He shines in basketball & football. All the couches want him on their team :) I wonder why :)

Long, but true. So I hope someday soon Ty will toss aside his pacifier, but if not, I can live with it, if he can :) He's such a beautiful doll baby, you just want to squeeze him :)

Isn't it funny how so many people expect a "norm" in a child's size? I have three nephews ... the 4-year-old was born by C-section a week early because he was already 10 pounds and they didn't want him getting any bigger. He looks like an 8-year-old now, is tall and skinny ... and I find myself getting frustrated at his immaturity ... and then remember that he's only four. On the other hand, his twin brothers were about 6 weeks premature, and are taking their time getting caught up. They're two now, and just started wearing 12-month clothing. They're teeny ... just started walking and don't really talk yet. They also don't really respond to you in a way that lets you know that they understood what you just said ... their older brother was responding intelligently (if not verbally) long before 18 months. All in all, it's just SO much fun to watch kids grow up, isn't it? :-D
