brian l. schiele 0 Posted June 3, 2006 I have wanted to do a series on these inflatable characterures that you see on dealership lots, fairs and what not for some time. I think there is a humorous element to them, and doing it with a "toy camera" would certainly add to that. Anyway, this is the not the first time I have photographed such a subject, but these are by the far the most successful photographs I have come back so far. I had originally intended to present this as a single image of Godzilla, but when I got my film back I saw it quite differently. What do you think? Brian Link to comment
stephen hazelton 3 Posted June 3, 2006 I'm more partial to giant inflatable monkeys, myself, maybe because that's what I see more of! The third frame could use more contrast between Godzilla and the sky- definitely some worthwhile shots. Some people use Holgas for the crappy quality- I tend to try to maximize quality with them, and for that reason, would suggest trying to avoid the light leak at the top of the frame. Link to comment
aeaster 0 Posted June 3, 2006 Well it's about time those two found gainfull employment other than stomping around Tokyo and kicking over trains full of screaming Japanese commuters. I would have thought that King Kong would have ended up as a high-rise window washer... Link to comment
