ljk 0 Posted June 3, 2006 I've looked at rocks from both sides (of the world) now.... Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted June 3, 2006 And I see as many illusions in the rocks as I do in the clouds. At first I thought the stick got in my way, but I would not have done it any differently.PS, A little bit of grass always helps the final effect. 8~)# Link to comment
Phil_Light 795 Posted June 3, 2006 That is the question??? I've always been torn with the question, "Should I move an object out of the scene, or capture it just like I found it?" I'm glad you left the twisted wood in the shot too. Wonderful juxtaposition of rock material with very interesting colors. Lovely composition. Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted June 3, 2006 Shawn..."a little bit of grass always helps the final effect"...? Doesn't mean the same to me that it used to! lol Philip...I, like you, have posed that question. But in the end I think it is in the imperfections that we find beauty. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted June 3, 2006 Linda, nor does it mean the same to me anymore, but that little clump of grass in your image adds much to it, and allowed me to add a tongue-in-cheek comment. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 3, 2006 I am deeply in love with that one little white pebble ... Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted June 4, 2006 Don't get all mushy on us! LOL! No, Linda - I had missed it, so thanks for pointing it out. I was SOOO mesmerized by the pebble! Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted June 6, 2006 Keen & sharp observation to have capture this. 2 different sides, 2 different view, but one united charm. Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted June 12, 2006 Very well seen indeed. I think if we pulled the wooden thing, the two sides would split apart. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted July 4, 2006 Move objects out of the image? I just mentioned to Jayme that I often clone out food on my nephews faces (which always seems to be there) and she said that she often likes to leave it in for the character that it adds to the image. Yeah. This little piece of wood adds character. :-) I love the different rocks, too. Well seen! Link to comment
