Pnina, A fine composition with the soft lighting allowing shapes and textures to be clearly shown. Great sharpness as well. Any technical info available? Lens? ISO? Shutter speed? f stop? How large are you planning on making the prints? Best, LM.

This image is a great addition to the series. Something I learned recently might be helpful. Galleries and publishers, especially publishers, like consistency. What I mean is this. The dance images are a theme or story or project, which is part one. Part two is the medium. All black & white works, all Sepia works, or all color images works. Mixing the medium does not work. Use your own judgment but my input comes from experience and the tremendous respect I have you for personally and for you as a talented photographer.

Regards, Howard

Len , I'm glad you looked at that series,( I hope) as you have told me in the past that you are an art lover, So it was interesting to hear your impression on that. Thanks, and do it again when you feel like doing it.

I don't know yet the size I will enlarge them, but it is planed, and I hope it will work out at the end of the year, to screen it on the wall of the art center while people are entering to see the dance itself, with rxhibiting it on the wall. we shall see how everything is developing. Right now it is a great pleasure for me doing it.

Technical information: Iso- 400, F4 Exposure time-1/500 sec.FL- 109mm Lens- Canon 70-200mm F4 L. Camera 30D ( my new aquisition with the lens).

Regards, Pnina

You are a good friend Howard, and thanks! I know it as I started to work with a professional art curatore, and we have decided it is better to work in B/W. As I keep all photos of the series in TIF files, there is no problem to convert them to that. So it will be B/W and some original colors for a bit of varaiety. I'm glad to get your point of view Howard, because I appreciate your work. Pnina

Great capture. Interesting shot, and look/expression on the one dancers face. Good composition. You caught this at the perfect moment. I think you may be learning all their moves!

Pnina, I really like the composition on this one. Particularly the diagonal lines. I am so curious to see what the final product of the dance itself would look like with costumes etc... I am sure your subjects in this series must be delighted with the images and the work you have all put into this.

The b/w works great in this picture. I know this is hard work, to be at the right angle, at the right time, and to press that shutter in the right moment! Really difficult. I think your hard work has paid off since you have a wonderful collection, worth displaying at the gala of the presentation!!! :-)

Sarah, Amar, Richard, Adolfo, Lee Kaushik, and Myrna,I'm pleased that it touched you to the point of writing!

Amar, to see it as you wish will take some long months of hard work of the group.I see now how much it takes to create a new dance.

Hello Pnina,

Nice expressive picture you made here.

The whole collection shows nice frames of moving people. B and W works well in this case. I love dancers, there working body`s and concentrated or happy expressions. Good material and well captured.

Very interesting choreography! I rather admire balance of this Y shaped body of the dancer with striped shirt. I see her enduring tremendous force with her whole body especially right thigh. Good composition with high tension of relation between these two dancers.
