julie b 0 Posted June 2, 2006 Hi, I think this photo is very colorful and stunning. I also like how you took this photo with a person in it-great comp. Thanks for sharing, JuLiE B Link to comment
mmmee 0 Posted June 2, 2006 Hi Julie Welcome to photo.net. Looking forward to your uploads. I had a look at your new page. You have some lovely scenery right out your front door. Thanks for the encouragement. This is the much photographed Butchart Gardens in my home town. Good luck with your Photoshop experiments. I used Paintshop Pro (now a Corel product) up until recently, so I am learning to use my Photoshop CS now too. Cheers, Maggie Link to comment
HuskyMason1 18 Posted June 2, 2006 Looks like my back yard...the woman on the left is a surrogate for the viewer...nice Link to comment
cyrus khamak 0 Posted June 2, 2006 Looks like my backyard as well if I spend about as million Dollar on landscaping and paving! I too think the inclusion of the woman is working fine here, good capture too in a situation like this but I do think it needs a bit of leveling. Do you think this was any close to what you saw? mmmee 0 Posted June 2, 2006 Oh wow we have some expert gardeners on Photo.net. I bet those stairs up the mountain were a difficult feature to build in your backyard. Thanks Cyrus! That looks really good. I was working with RAW conversions last nite. It got to be 2:30 in the morning before I realized it. Yeah, this one needs more work to get it looking so so postcard perfect. Thank you again. It was a rainy day when Pam and Rachel and I were out there. But the levels has turned it into a sunny day. :)) good stuff. Link to comment
mmmee 0 Posted January 7, 2007 Since I posted this photo, I have learned a bit more about using the RAW converter. Here is my latest attempt.. different photo, though. Thanks for all the help on the RAW conversions, Cyrus. Link to comment
cyrus khamak 0 Posted January 8, 2007 Thank YOU and bravo, really! I absolutely love this conversion. Sweet colors and the way a garden like this should be presented. Cheers. Link to comment
