Top of the Whites

Great composition with the clouds in the background, would have been nice to see some oclor in the foreground, but nature doesn't always give us what we wnat do they :) beautiful shot, love the winding trail looks like it could go on forever..

This is a gorgeous example of tonal range. Every detail is there from shadow through the highlights. Simply beautiful. The sky is perfect but I wish there were yet a little more contrast in the landscape to bring out the coarseness of the terra vs. the flowing character of the sky and clouds. The winding path of the road seems to mirror, or maybe balance, the sky nicely. The perspective and composition are first rate. Just a little more *something* in the landscape...
