Wow... I want some of what you had John. I still can't focus. LOL! :-) John, the great impressionist of his time. A good artist's work makes people look twice and take notice. This you have accomplished here!
Thomas, Sharon, many thanks ...
John, Idea is not bad. I think you overlap two shots and got your desired effect. Too much puzzel, yet it looks good.
Hello John, I like the puzzle. It's very good. Had you thought about projecting one image on another or on a model? Best wishes. Peter
Good idea Peter, thank you. No, I haven't tried that yet.
absolutely love the concept of this photo, the portrait of a lady...
So nice to hear that coming from a young woman. Thank you Sarah.
Amazingly Good! John, this is reminiscent of Picasso nudes, which I love. You have done an excellent job, it should be matted, framed and hanging in a gallery!! You are one talented guy!!
.. and the original ..
Ha Jonathan, you are the only one that got it ... !
My favorite Modigliani painting - I have a print of it on my wall! An interesting idea you could develop further but I have to say his model looks to be in a more comfortable pose than yours (but at least yours is still awake!) Best wishes, Jonathan
Well, thank you George. I appreciate that, though this is not to everyone's taste of course.
Very Nice I Love it, as I do most of your photos. This is so Modigliani - like. Great work!
Zoom, Schwartz, Modigliani... Great concept John and well executed. I've always loved this image by Amedeo too. Of late I've been thumbing through my 'art' books for posing ideas for some classic studies. Cheers, Raymond
Excellent. This is a reincarnation of Gustav Klimt's work the famous Austrian painter.
lovely experiment looks like a painting in the early 20th century, reminds me of something in particular, i can't say right now exactly which painting i will think about it ;)
I like it very much,it is a very good idea..
When I saw this work my first thought was "Modigliani"
and so it is!
if you drag this picture to google picture search
the Modigliani is the finder hit.
Excellent work John!
I didn't know that you could do that with Google .. many thanks, John
