Sondra, I have not seen much of your work lately but I sure am glad your back and your work is in top form as usual. I really enjoy the IR photographs you shoot.

Well Sondra, you certainly do have the digital camera IR technique nailed! This particular exposure has plenty of infrared energy and a very pleasing "wood effect" in the foliage. The composition is good; nice use of shadow to reinforce the feeling of dimension. I would consider rotating this about 0.25 degree CW. Regards.

Thanks Walter, this is the second time I have tried to correct my leaning problem. Hopefully I got it this time. I am beginning to think its an optical illusion. Sondra

I am not sure whether it's only an issue of rotation. It seems to be tilted back a tad, so perhaps a perspective correction (easy in PS2) might be in order.

Otherwise, very nice shot!

Best wishes,

Sondra,

The light is exceptionally rendered by IR. Composition is great with the path and the big dark tree.

Congratulations

Superb IR work. The shot needs to be rotated about degree clockwise though as the 'horizon' is tilted to the left.

Sondra, your IRs are all excellent, and this one is no exception. Our world through IR is completely different isn't it ?

Great image.

What a wonderful Southern scene!! I love the hanging leaves at the top of the frame, and the way the walk leads the eye to the building. Simply gorgeous!
