LindaM 2 Posted May 31, 2006 you asked about the saturation. the yellow may be a little too much, but any less might not sing against the sky the way this does. if you have played with it, and this is where it feels right to you, keep it. trust your inner voice. beautiful image! Link to comment
rasmuslindersson 0 Posted May 31, 2006 The light in this shot is just wonderful, so are the colors. I don't think there is too much saturation. It's really beautiful. Link to comment
bigginger 0 Posted May 31, 2006 Im like it. The contrast between the yello and the sky is very eye catching. Link to comment

alban 0 Posted May 31, 2006 Saturation? Depends on the taste of viewer. I think in here it served well to bring out the mood. Link to comment
corbin 0 Posted May 31, 2006 I have no problem with the saturation: You need a high contrast and strong colors to get all the straight lines to work for you. Nice work. Link to comment
johnwillyums 0 Posted May 31, 2006 some might say too much but I think it works well. It certanly attracted my eye. very nice. Link to comment
bentes_world 0 Posted June 1, 2006 to everyone for taking time to comment. I can tell the biggest discussion on this on the danish photo site has been whether the stake in the front should be there or not, not the colors. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted June 1, 2006 YES, the post has to be there. End of discussion. THIS IS WHY I LOVE DENMARK!!!!!!!! This is a gorgeous scene. This is the image that I had in my mind for the 20 years between my visits to Denmark. I'll need to start planning my next trip. Yeah. I love this!!!!! Seven seven. Yup!! Link to comment
bentes_world 0 Posted June 1, 2006 Ha ... you were a little late to see this last time you visited Denmark but truth is Denmark is pretty yellow for the time being ... and the weather sucks (as usual). Normally I think it's hard to achieve a decent landscape photo because of the flat country but here it works for one time I think ..... and thank you so much for your generosity (((-: Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted June 2, 2006 The post makes a nice starting point for your eyes, with the curve of the road gently leading you to the great sky. Link to comment
donnaalbers 0 Posted June 2, 2006 Love those colors! As someone mentioned earlier, they provide a perfect foil for the strong leading road lines. . . the fence post works very well here in this strong image. . it forces the eye into an abrupt stop before continuing further into the image. . markboyer 0 Posted June 4, 2006 What a magnificant vista, with that turbulent sky over that wash of yellow. The vertical post is a beautiful touch. Link to comment

ljk 0 Posted June 5, 2006 Bente, you did something very difficult...you captured what the mind's eye sees. Beautiful. Link to comment
bille 0 Posted June 8, 2006 Hej Bente. Hilsen Michael Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 10, 2006 Bente, This is really beautiful. It's hard to know about the saturation. Different monitors and all. I love the way the warm yellow contrasts with the cool blue sky. My first thought when I viewed this was "what about that post". My conclusion was that it's what makes this image stand apart form others. It grounds the viewer and makes the scene more "real". I do wonder how this might have looked from an even lower shooting angle. Link to comment
stilfoto 0 Posted June 17, 2006 Wonderful shot :-)Great colours and composition - I like it a lot... Link to comment
einar 0 Posted September 7, 2006 Great shot. Like the drama in the contrast between the yellow and the grey clouds. Link to comment
