you asked about the saturation. the yellow may be a little too much, but any less might not sing against the sky the way this does. if you have played with it, and this is where it feels right to you, keep it. trust your inner voice. beautiful image!

The light in this shot is just wonderful, so are the colors. I don't think there is too much saturation. It's really beautiful.

Saturation? Depends on the taste of viewer. I think in here it served well to bring out the mood.

I have no problem with the saturation: You need a high contrast and strong colors to get all the straight lines to work for you. Nice work.

to everyone for taking time to comment. I can tell the biggest discussion on this on the danish photo site has been whether the stake in the front should be there or not, not the colors.

YES, the post has to be there. End of discussion.

THIS IS WHY I LOVE DENMARK!!!!!!!! This is a gorgeous scene. This is the image that I had in my mind for the 20 years between my visits to Denmark. I'll need to start planning my next trip. Yeah. I love this!!!!!

Seven seven. Yup!!

Ha ... you were a little late to see this last time you visited Denmark but truth is Denmark is pretty yellow for the time being ... and the weather sucks (as usual). Normally I think it's hard to achieve a decent landscape photo because of the flat country but here it works for one time I think ..... and thank you so much for your generosity (((-:

The post makes a nice starting point for your eyes, with the curve of the road gently leading you to the great sky.

Love those colors! As someone mentioned earlier, they provide a perfect foil for the strong leading road lines. . . the fence post works very well here in this strong image. . it forces the eye into an abrupt stop before continuing further into the image. .

What a magnificant vista, with that turbulent sky over that wash of yellow. The vertical post is a beautiful touch.

Bente, you did something very difficult...you captured what the mind's eye sees.

Beautiful.

Hej Bente. Hilsen Michael

Bente, This is really beautiful. It's hard to know about the saturation. Different monitors and all. I love the way the warm yellow contrasts with the cool blue sky. My first thought when I viewed this was "what about that post". My conclusion was that it's what makes this image stand apart form others. It grounds the viewer and makes the scene more "real". I do wonder how this might have looked from an even lower shooting angle.
