Interesting shot, I try this kind of compositional approaches as well (still lives with many - and usually small - objects) and I, too, get dubious ratings; doesn't make me like them less, on the contrary :)

This composition seems sweet, until one feels the tension of the green teapot in the middle, about to topsy turvy the rest of the china. Perhaps even the china dolls on the right are a bit concerned? I really like this. And the colors are wonderful.

I love this one, Tanya. This is a very special work to me.
