michaelging 1 Posted May 31, 2006 Alexander, I can tell you shot this photo from Lost Dutchman State Park , as I have shot from this location many times. In fact you shot the photo in the past couple of weeks as the Saguaro Blooms have not opened yet. In shooting the photo the way you did you have lost much of the depth that a photograph from here would have given you.This was shot in the afternoon and early morning or later in the day would have given you better light. There is a lot of Cholla cactus between this cactus on the right, and the mountains , which I believe would have made for a more interesting photo. You might have been trying to keep the people out of the photo , but I think this composition made it less interesting. Thanks for posting it ,you should see this place when the poppies are blooming.
