erwin1 0 Posted May 30, 2006 This is one of my favourites I brought home in February 2005 from the Provence (France), where (exceptionally) it was freezing cold and on the hills there was snow. This shot was taken when driving to the 'Col de l'homme mort'. You need to know that in my back, at 300 ft, was the military camp of the French foreign legion, and I did not quite feel comfortable with this army in my back, and where a whole field of antennas was stationed. Ps - another detail : next to this field, in the summer, it is full of lavender Link to comment
jkwiatkowski 0 Posted May 30, 2006 I am sure you would love winter time in Poland. Sometimes it is really beautiful with lots of snow and frost everywhere (just like in the attached photo that I took actually just 3 months ago). Regards, jk Link to comment
carsten_ranke 0 Posted May 30, 2006 Very nice winter landscape, well composed. The restricted color palette is beautiful, as well as the simple form of the tree. Maybe I would have preferred a bit more sky and less foreground snow. Link to comment
