You have shown an entirely new range, both to your photography and creativity with this ShadowMan Series. These photos are pleasing to the eye, imaginitive, creative, humorous, and completely original. You have an incredible gift for telling stories, which is highlighted beautifully through your images. You should be very proud of yourself. It is both a pleasure and honour to share in the adventures of this curious little fellow! Thank you for sharing. (This one, by the way, is my favorite, thus far...) Respectfully, Tina

David, I want to rate it 6/7 but it won't let me because you rated my photos recently. I really like your ideas and executing them. Very original. Where is he going next? Looking forward to seeing more!

Also thank you for your very kind comments on my photos. Best regards, Jamila

Thank you for your positive comments on ShadowMan. I don't know where he's going next (I just follow him around with my camera), but I'm sure it will be a wonderful place I'd like to visit. Stay tuned ... :)

Well, this *is* ShadowMan .. his world is different than our own, he lives in a unique one-dimensional plane that is a shadowy reflection of our world (pun intended). Things are always a little more exciting in ShadowMan's realm and I hope I have captured the spirit of this strange, quirky fellow. But not to worry, something tells me that the "expected" shadow will reappear in his future travels ...

Thanks for writing, it's always appreciated.

David :)

David: I like the way you describes it - story of a man who lives in a 2 dimesional projection of our 3D world. If you are interested in modern Physics, you may know the concept of higher dimensional universes - we may be living in a 3D projection of a higher dimensional world (a theory called String Theory suggests that there may 10 or 11 spacial dimensions) - your work is a nice approximation of such concept. And, yes..thanks for all the kind and inspiring words on my portfolio - it means a lot to get such remarks from someone like you..see u around

I have always considered the concept of multiverses and multidimensions an intriguing concept. As an avid amateur astronomer, I'm more than familiar with the concepts of string theory and the 10/11 dimensions ... although one wonders whether physicists will ever be able to prove they exist. One intriguing concept is that our universe is a torus--a donut--so I can see ShadowMan eating some one-dimensional double-chocolate "ring" that is probably very low in fat ... a perfect world!

As for your images in your portfolio, you have some excellent work there ... I calls 'em as I sees 'em. Keep up the great work.

David

I read your discussions in ShadowMan#4, and i can't help to give more respect to the photographer who created this image. I feel that you are a man who can make anything so sweetly humourous. I don't know much about Physics or austronaut, but i definately can feel your enjoyment in creating whatever you do.... Warm regards,

tanya.

I am so jealous of your shadow man as I have always wanted to visit the great pyramids and all the other places he has had the good fortune to explore! lol. I love your sense of humor, adventure and creativity! I love this whole series of shadow man and I think it would make an excellent exhibition or book...a great idea and well executed. Thank you for sharing this little gem...great job! :)
