Mixed feelings about the jetty NOT starting exactly from corner.

Should I cut more from the bottom of the picture?

No, I wouldn't crop any more because the rocks in the foreground are interesting and form a part of the image. At first we don't notice the fisherman because he is so small, but our eye is eventually drawn to him by the diagonal leading line of the pier. Yes, I would have liked also to have seen the pier begin right at the corner, but I think the answer to that would have been to have used a little wider angle lens or moved to get it in-camera because now I think it has to stay the way it is. This is a beautiful b&w image with a lush tonal range and excellent technical quality. I also love the slight blur of the moving clouds. Great image.

I will most definatly agree with Spencer. Its perfect all the way!!!!

I agree with the others -- it's beautiful as is. When I cover the bottom to have the jetty start at the corner, it loses too much of the great rocks along the bottom. I say leave it! It's fab!

Powerful oblique line, great sense of distance, very nice job.

I haven't looked at the other critiques so this one is my first impression. I looked through the Critique gallery, spotted this photo and opened it up. It stood out because of the interesting perspective with good forground and background detail. Very nice.
