Jpeg compression is really doing a number on this....can you view it

well enough to give me your opinion?

terrific colors, lines, and patterns. the birds almost look like notes on a sheet of music. very cool!

Your right, your birds on the wire look much better before they were uploaded ! (So....how cool is this ?)

Yes, compression is sure doing a number on John Kerry too ....

 

I especially like the 3rd bird from the left - the non-conformist - smile ....

I like this one. I often see similar birds on wires, but not usually with such a great sky.

Ken, I think that is called DEcompression....and that third bird from the left? That would be me.

 

And Kim, this was the same sky but a different time of day. Slight of hand ;-)

One thing about Linda, once she learns a trick, she will perfect it...and that is what she did here, this is what Photo Shop is really all about, to make pictures better...(Some would say, "cheating", but hey, camera's were once looked at by artists as such !)

There will always be stick-n'-rudder guys who believe art is a grainy, high contrast picture of poor people. No cheating here, at least not any more than other modern artists making full use of available tools.

Fantastic graphics against this glorious sky, Linda! I think it works well, indeed, and yes - much of the credit must be given to Mr. Third from the Left.

 

(I'm curious to know how you decide what season to spend where, though - Autumn anywhere in the world would always have MY vote...)

I like that hot horizontal sky with the diagonal string of birds, and the one keepimg the "night watch"....

Well, your slight of hand had me fooled! :-) The sky is fabulous ... and you helped it transcend the typical "sunset" image. Have you seen the Pixar movie short, "The Birds"? Now I can't see birds lined up on a wire like this without laughing a bit......
