jmoody 0 Posted May 24, 2006 first time messing around with an nd grad filter (not as easy in some ways as I'd hoped, but easier in others) Any thoughts on the shot...composition, exposure, etc...? Thanks to any who stop by Link to comment
doug bowles 0 Posted May 24, 2006 This is really good...it appears just a tad dark on my monitor, and usually I don't have a problem with photos appearing dark. There's some loss of detail in the rock in the right foreground and through the greenery on the bluff. It looks like you've got encroachment from the edge of the filter into the top left of the image...not very much but it caught my eye right away. Link to comment
jmoody 0 Posted May 24, 2006 I'm on my work computer right now, and I can barely make out any detail at all, so I'm right with you in that aspect (originally edited on my laptop which tends to be notorious for tricking me into thinking it's not too dark). I'll go back to the RAW version and maybe see if I can coax another 1/3 stop or so out of it. Link to comment
