This is a pretty image that conveys the mood of the place. How did you achieve the diffusion effect?

The Nikon D2X camera can do overlays or put two images together. One is diffused and the other sharp, then I just add the two.

Thanks for the information. I wasn't aware of that capability. (the only Nikon I have is a Kodak DCS 330). I do a similar soft-focus effect using layers in photoshop. I blur the top layer and decrease the opacity so the sharp background layer shows through. You achieved a nice effect here, and well suited to the image.
