daviddbfotoart 0 Posted June 18, 2006 The focus seems to be at the back of her head. Her hair behind her neck is sharper then her face. Link to comment
missionhenrikson 0 Posted June 18, 2006 I shot it at a 15th/sec. in order to achieve this effect. If I wanted it in Focus...it would have been. Link to comment
umapathy 0 Posted June 18, 2006 Hi henrik, this is a nice one. dont be so harsh in reverting back henrik, then people wont feel free to comment on ur picture. it is better to ignore it, or reply politely, and dont take it as a an advice and all, i am no where equal to advice u. but by the end of the day, u will be the losser. just ignore my comment, if u dont agree. daviddbfotoart 0 Posted June 19, 2006 I would suggest making this clear....ie: "Shot at a slow speed for a movement effect" I only made my remark as some of the image is sharp, and some isn't. At the onset, it looked more like a dof problem than a slow shutter speed issue. Link to comment
missionhenrikson 0 Posted June 21, 2006 David ,No worries mate! I stayed in the Whitsunday area of Australia for a few weeks back in 1984. Airlie beach and such. Met a Local who took us all around the islands in his speedboat as long as we paid for beer and petrol. I actually have quite a few pics from the area if your interested in seeing what it looked like in 1984 You live in one of the most beautiful places in the world! I would love to see more pictures of the islands in your portfolio. Link to comment
daviddbfotoart 0 Posted June 21, 2006 Would love to see some of the old photos. You'd be amazed at how much the place has changed I think. I'll gather a few shots from around Airlie and email them to you. I was originally up here in the early '90's, and the changes are quite incredible. Where abouts did you visit? I do work on Daydream, Long and Lindeman Islands, but live in Airlie Beach itself. If there's anywhere in particular you'd like an updated shot from, let me know and I'll get it for you. Cheers.
