Vision

This was taken at Red Island on the Salton Sea. It was a really bad

exposure to begin with, so I tried to bring it to life in Photoshop

via dodging and burning. I burned out the coastline sand totally, as

well as a line on the horizon. Brightened the highlights on some of

the rocks. I burned the edges too. Kodak DC280 Digital.

When I first looked at the larger version of the photo, it looked like it was shot with IR film. I must say that I enjoy the grainy feel of the image and the uneven lighting that was surely the result of your dodging and burning.

Lose the cheesy photoshop effects. You image should be able to stand on it's own without having to hide behind conspicous Photoshop manipulation.
