Anyone that knows Hong Kong will know it is rare to be on an empty train. I think this image is more record of that fact than anything else.

Feedback appreciated!

Great perspective and composition. Great use of the vanishing point towards the rear of the image. The television monitor works well where it is. Brilliant use of deapth of field. No "Tilt" noted.

Daniel, If my memory serves me right, this was taken during the SARS period in Hong Kong. That would probably explain why it is so empty. If you seen Hong Kong today, it is like SARS never happened.

Edwin, I was there! Actually, if you look carefully you will see a few people at the far end of the train.

Owen, This is a little strange for me but I do like it. I am glad you like it too.

I have never been in an empty KCRC train, even after mid night. Good catch, and I like the compisition. Very directional and futuristic.

I roam the streets of Hong Kong at night. I remember coming back from Guangzhou one night and catching the last KCRC train from Hung Hom to the MTR station. It was not as empty as this train. Hope you are enjoying Hong Kong. Have a nice cup of coffee at Pacific Cafe for me, and I did not forget the all you can drink beer night at the Whiskey Priest.
