I assume the photo is of a Corsair which casts a great shadow.

 

The lighting is amazingly good especially the rainbow

Okay, Dan, I?m going to come along and be the naysayer. There is much I like about your image. I mean, who can argue with the beautiful silhouette of a Corsair against an evening sky. However, as serendipitous as it may have been to capture the rainbow, because it is not more complete, without explanation, it appears to be an aberration or lens flair more than a rainbow. I sincerely hope that you got the same image without the rainbow.

well Gary, i can assure there was a rainbow there, i remember postioning myself so that it was just above the canopy. However, the camera didnt seem to pick it up as good as i hoped, and the white bal was wat off so there was some post editing that maybe didnt do the rainbow too much justice.

Dan, I am sorry if my wording implied any thing other. I never doubted that it was a rainbow. I only meant to convey that without being told it would be difficult to identify as a rainbow.
