this is a very good image erwin. moody light, good composition and interesting subject. as a color afficionado i like your entire body of work; im wondering why there are nearly no people inn your folder though. as a sociologist myself i somehow feel the need to display people and their behaviour in their natural surroundings everytime possible.

 

i totally get the point that you say, putting your own feelings into 2D images is what you want to achieve with photography. the same thing goes for me. (for example, going to shows and taking portraits of people whose emotions fit my own)

 

please keep on supplying us with your wonderfull work.

 

PS: when looking at your photo-erwin page i realised, we read the same book ;-)

I'm a little late in finding this one but the blend of innocence and mystery create a wonderful atmosphere. The DOF or select focus lends itself well.
