jayme 0 Posted May 26, 2006 Thanks Ken & Jason. Ken- I was kind of hoping this could be our new National PIN Number :) What a crock! I personally think all insurance companies should be required to have just 1 number (telephone, address, & payer number, etc). They should all also have to file their EOB's on 1 standardized form, much like our HCFA 1500 form. It "could" be called the SHIT 2006 form. "Standardized Health Insurance Transmittal" form for 2006. I think it sounds like a novel idea, what about you? Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted May 28, 2006 Well seen, Jayme. Good luck trying to standardize anything in the Healthcare System! We spend an incredible amount of time credentialing (and RE-credentialing) our doctors for EACH insurance company - why not have ONE place to credential a doctor that will be recognized by each company? jayme 0 Posted May 29, 2006 Kim- Isn't that the truth. We use to have an company that we participated with, they did our re-credentialing for all the ins co. that they negotiated our contracts with. They cease to exist June 1, 2006. So... I know the story. Also had to re-sign our contracts with those companies & re-credential. A real pain! However, I do believe that all Ins. EOBs need to be standardized. Fair is fair. I'm tired of just the Providers being regulated. It's time to regulate the other guys. Link to comment

lupine 0 Posted May 31, 2006 I thought you would appreciate the attached image. I could say all kinds of wonderful things about this image (which I believe would be true) but then it would seem like I'm commenting on my own work as well :-) I love when the things I photograph have numbers or letters, it just makes it so easy to name. It seems so natural. Great work, love texture and shapes... Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted May 31, 2006 I love it :) Mates ? Mine of course is female, you can tell by the flattering, soft light she was captured in, makes her wrinkles less noticeable :) Link to comment
