Stunning portrait, Theo. A pleasure to study and learn from. I wonde whether the camera might better have been positioned slightly more to the left.

Chris you are right, that thing with the lights above her is a bit unfortunate positioned. But it was impossible, I was standing in the doorway, no room left.

Very well composed Theo ,she is well accentuated on the blured BG. and I like the man behind.Good light and nice scene.

unreal tonal range, very nice. the eye cannot pass by the engulfing composition. as always, Marijse is perfect in her photogenic poise.

Really interesting portrait. I like the confusion of the composition, as it adds richness to the scene. Almost all elements in the bacground are playing a directional role, and that is good. I like the lights above her head for that reason and they give the picture an edge. My only comment for change would be to put more depth into the bacground which has been flattened out to make the figure stand out. Unfortunately she is not of the world around her. Her arm ,spacially, seems far forward to the bar it rests on. Anyway, just a bit of shadow under the bar would really help.

I just can judge by her pose and the eye contact but looks like Marijse is a powerful model.

I'm not at all fetishist - LOL - but did you ever try to include closer view of her hands into some of her portraits? (even closer than in the #19)

The black dress, the focal range and that stunning look is all I see before I eventually getting around to the wonderfully arranged cafe background. Almost two pictures in one. Very well done.

Hello Theo, to me the graphical composition is weak, the light bar over her head is a very dominant detail, to me too dominant, also the window in the back, regards Stefan
