pjmeade 12 Posted May 17, 2006 Hello Ian, there is great lighting on this church. Although I can see a shadow, the most striking thing about this church is the lack of yew trees, so there is a perfect, open vista. The other thing that is most obvious is what appears to be a late Victorian "renovation", in which this charming old building was given castelations. Chester Cathedral was improved in the same way. The structure seems to be a a mixture of sandstone and a lighter material, like limestone. Where is this, Cheshire? Regards. Peter Link to comment
