This work has a primordial sense about it which allow any viewer to immediately have some human indentification with. The overall lighting has a definate Rembrandtian sense to it that only add to the drama as well as feed a peculiar and strange element. A lovely print indeed. Thanx for posting this one. jcfretz 0 Posted February 26, 2009 Rembrandt and the other Dutch masters played with an manipulated light to an extraordinary degree, and I regard this shot as a modern day homage to them.
