When I look at her garishly dyed hair, I'm reminded a lot of the "punkers" whom I had a chance to photograph in London in the early 1980's. So for me, this image has something of a "retro" aspect to it, rather than representing a depiction of a cutting edge or avant-guard cultural phenomenon..
